RICE UPMA (Arisi Upma)



INGREDIENTS :

Rice - 1/2 cup soaked and finely grinded with little water.
Onion -  1 chopped
Red Chillies - 2
Curry leaves
Jeera - 1 tsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Grated coconut - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves

METHOD OF PREPARATION : 

1) Heat oil in a kadai .Once hot , add Jeera and Mustard . When it splutters, add onion and saute till tender. Then add the coconut and saute for a minute.


2) Then , add grinded rice to it with salt and stir it up continuously without lumps Cook till done . The upma should not stick to the pan. Add oil if needed .




Garnish with Coriander leaves . Serve hot with Coconut Chutney.
