Swede is a variety of Turnip . It is rich in Vitamin -C .
Chopped Swede - 1 cup
Green chillies - 4
Onion - 1/2 cup
Mustard - 1 tsp
Urat dal - 1 tsp
Curd - 2 tsps .
Salt to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION :
1) Soak chopped veggie in curd for 10 - 15 minutes .
2) Heat oil in a pan . Once hot , add mustard and urat dal .When it splutters , add onion and saute till tender.
3) Then add sliced chillies and saute it with salt .
4) Finally , add the veggie and stir it well .Sprinkle little water and cover with a lid . Cook in slow flame till it is done .
Serve hot with Sambar/Rasam Rice.Linking it up with Krithi's Serve it - Stir fry event .
