SPANISH OMELETTE


INGREDIENTS :

Eggs - 6
Potatoes - 250 -300 gms
Onion - 1 big
Salt to taste




METHOD OF PREPARATION :


1. Slice potatoes finely and boil for 10 minutes. Then drain the water and spread it in a baking tray along with sliced onion. Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 220 degrees. Spray olive oil over it, give a gentle mix and roast till golden brown for 10-15 minutes . Mix it once in the middle of baking. Crispy onion will add unique flavour, see to it that it doesn't get burnt. 

(Note: You fry deep fry potatoes and onions as well.)


2. Beat the eggs well.


3) Mix in the beat eggs to the roasted potatoes and onion, with Salt.


4) Heat a pan. Spread a tbsp of oil. Once hot, spread the mix slowly. Spray little oil. Cover with a lid and cook in slow flame till done. Flip once slowly to it's side.



Remove from the flame and Serve hot.

ROLLED BREAD OMELETTE


INGREDIENTS :

Bread slices
Eggs - 2
Onion - 1 small
Green chillies - 2
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Salt to taste

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1) Beat Eggs well with onion, chillies, jeera, salt and turmeric powder.


2) Spread butter in the pan. Pour in the egg and spread it well. Add some cheese to it.




3) Slice the toasted bread in halves and pace over the egg. Roll the bread in the egg. Cook till done.



Serve hot with Sauce.

VEGETABLE OMELETTE


INGREDIENTS :

  • Eggs - 2 
  • Boiled and Sauted vegetables - 2 tsps
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Jeera - 1/4 tsp
  • Crushed pepper as required
  • Salt to taste

METHOD OF PREPARATION: 

1. Take a bowl. Beat well the eggs with Vegetables, Jeera, Pepper powder, Turmeric powder and Salt.




2. Heat oil in a dosa pan. Once hot, spread the beaten egg evenly. Spray little more oil. Flip to its sides till done.


3. Serve hot.
