Oats upma :
Oats - 1 cup
Onion - 1 medium
Curry leaves and coriander leaves
Ginger - 1 small piece
Green Chillies - 3
Channa Dal - 1 tsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION :
1) Fry oats in a kadai with out oil for 2 minutes and keep aside.
2) Heat oil in a kadai.Add mustard,jeera and channa dal.Once it splutters,add chopped onion and saute till golden brown.
3)Add chopped chillies and ginger and saute for 3 minutes.
4)Add 1 cup of water and salt.Allow it to boil.
5)When it starts boiling add oats and stir well.Cover with a lid and cook till oats is cooked without water.
Serve with spicy chutney.
