FOR BATTER :
Boiled rice - 2 1/2 cup
Raw rice - 1 1/2 cup
Urad dal - 1 cup
Salt to taste
For Garnishing :
Grated carrot , sliced onion, green chillies and coriander leaves .
METHOD OF PREPARATION :
1) Soak rice and dal for 5-6 hours. Grind them as smooth batter and leave overnight for fermentation.
2) Heat dosai kal. Spread 2 ladles of the batter a bit thick. Spray little oil, cover with a lid for 2 minutes and flip to other side .
3) Garnish with carrot and onion. Spread evenly and flip carefully only once for a minute and turn immediately.
Remove from the flame and serve hot as set of two dosai's with sambar or chutney .
