KATHIRIKKAI PAKODA ( BRINJAL FRITTERS)


INGREDIENTS : 

Brinjal -- 300 gms 
Gram flour -- 1/4 cup 
Chilli powder -- 4 tsps 
Rice flour -- 2 tsps 
Jeera  -1 tsp 
Ginger -garlic paste -- 1/4 tsp 
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste 

 METHOD OF PREPARATION : 

1) Slice in brinjal as little fingers. 
2) Add gram flour, chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Jeera, Rice flour, ginger-garlic paste and mix it well by sprinking little water. Marinate for 1 hour . 



3) Heat oil in a kadai. Once hot, drop the brinjal and then deep fry them till roasted.



Serve hot with Rice.
