My hubby and myself are loves to taste bittergourd in variety of flavours .This is one yummy recipe even children loves it.
INGREDIENTS :
Bitter gourd ----300 gms
Onion - 1
Coconut -- 4 pieces
Tomato - 1 for saute, 1 for grindingJaggery -- a small piece
Mustard - 1 tsp
Methi seeds - -1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tspCurry leaves
Tamarind - a small piece
Salt to taste
Sambar powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - -1 tsp
METHOD OF PREPARATION :
1) Chop the veggie and boil them with little salt and turmeric powder . Once half cooked , keep it aside.
2) Meanwhile, grind tomato, coriander powder, jeera, methi seeds and coconut pieces coarsely with little water in a blender

4) Add the veggie, grinder masala and saute for 2 minutes . Then add the spice powders and tamarind juice to it. Add little water and bring it to boil.

6) Cook in a slow flame . Finally ,add jaggery to it and cook it the oil separates .
Serve hot with Rice .
