Toor Dal - 1 handful
Moong dal - 1 handful
Channa dal - 1 handful
Milk - 1/2 litre
Jaggery - as per requirement
Candy sugar/Kalkandu - 1 handful
Cashews,Cardamom and Raisins.
METHOD OF PREPARATION :
1) Soak dals for 1 hour.
2) Pressure cook them for 6-7 whistles and keep aside.
3) Boil milk with kalkandu .
4) Meanwhile , make thick jaggery syrup and filter the impurities.
5) Once the milk starts to boil,simmer to slow flame and add the dal mixture to it and stir well.
6)Add syrup to it and boil the milk till it thickens.
7)Garnish with ghee roasted cashews,raisins and cardamom pods.
