Lettuce is a leafy vegetable rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin K, has anti-oxidant properties. It can replace bread for people who are aiming to decrease their carbohydrates.
INGREDIENTS :
- Toor dal - 1/2 cup
- Lettuce - 1 small
- Onion - 1 big
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Jeera- 1 tsp
- Dried Red chillies - 2
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Sambar powder - 2 tsps
- Salt to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION :
1) Heat oil in a cooker . Saute onion till tender with little salt.Followed by curry leaves and red chillies.
2) Then add finely sliced lettuce and sauce well till the raw smell leaves.
3) Then, mix the cooked dal to it and mix it well.
