INGREDIENTS :
- 200g dark chocolate,
- 110g butter,
- 1/2 cup Demerara sugar,
- 1 cup self-raising flour,
- 4 tsp hot-chocolate powder/ 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
METHOD OF PREPARATION :
1. Boil some water and place a bowl on the heated vessel to melt the butter and chocolate into a smooth mix.
2. Take the bowl out of the heat and add the cup of sugar and mix it well.
3. Let the chocolate cool for a bit and then add the eggs so that the eggs don't heat up. Later, beat the mix and whisk the mixture until smooth.
4. Add the flour and start mixing until the batter smooths well. Now, add the cocoa powder and mix for the last time.
5. Before pouring the batter into the baking tin, cut the baking paper precisely for the appropriate size and smudge butter onto all the inner sides of the baking tin. Now pour the batter into the tin.
6. Set the temperature for 180 C/ 160 C Fan before preheating the oven. Now place the tin into the oven. Prick in to see the cake is done. Remove from the oven, allow it to cool and cut slices.
7. Now, the cake is ready to serve.
