DAL GREENS WHEAT DOSA , PEPPER KARA WHEAT DOSA WITH SPICY TOMATO CHUTNEY

DAL GREENS WHEAT DOSA :



INGREDIENTS :

Wheat flour -2 cups
Dal keerai curry - 4-5 ladles . For dal keerai / greens curry CLICK HERE .
Salt and chilli powder - if needed for ur taste.

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

Prepare batter with water and salt with out lumps .Add curry and mix all the ingredients.Make dosa's . Serve hot with chutney or sambar.


PEPPERED WHEAT DOSA :






INGREDIENTS :

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Onion - 1 (big) ; finely chopped
Pepper - Jeera powder - 1 tbsp for easch dosa
Salt to taste

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1) Prepare wheat flour batter for making dosa.Just add water with flour and mix them with ladle without lumps. Add salt .

2) Heat dosa pan,make dosas with or without oil.Flip to its side ,when it turns brown.After dosa is ready , before tasting them sprinkle pepper-jeera powder and chopped onions . Roll them and serve hot with hot chutneys.

SPICY TOMATO CHUTNEY :

INGREDIENTS :

Tomato - 6
Onion - 1
Garlic cloves - 6
Mustard , Urat dal , Jeera and curry leaves .
Tamarind - a small piece
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder - 2 tsps

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1) Blend tomatoes in a mixer with chilli powder and tamarind .
2) Heat oil in a pan . Add grinded tomato with less water .
3) Add salt and allow it to boil . Cover with a lid . Wait it gets cooked .
4) Meanwhile , heat oil and saute ingredients for tempering . Remove from flame when onion and garlic becomes tender .Once done ,add it to tomato mixture ,add 2 tsps od oil again and remove from flame after 2 minutes .

Serves good with dosa/idlis/upma . If u use more gingelly oil , best suited for picnic lunch with curd rice / lemon /tamarind rice /idlis...........
