VEGETABLE PULAO



INGREDIENTS :

Basmati Rice- 1 cup (Soak rice in water for 20 minutes)
Mixed Veggies - 1 cup
Cinnamon - 2
Cloves - 1
Bay leaves - 1
Salt to taste
Coriander powder -- 1 tsp
Onion - 1
Capsicum - 1 big sliced

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1 ) Heat ghee in a pressure cooker . Add Cinnamon, Cloves, biriyani leaves, phool, Rajpatri, Annasi poo. When it splutters, add chopped Green Chillies.



2) Add the onion and sliced capsicum and saute till the raw smell leaves. 



3) Add the ginger-garlic paste, little water and Salt. Saute till the raw smell leaves.


4) Add the vegetables and mix it well. Cook for few minutes and then add coriander powder, sauce till raw smell leaves.




5) Add add rice, mix it well. 



6) Finally, add 1 cup of water and bring it to boil. Cook for 2 whistles. Allow the steam to leave.


7) Open the lid and mix from the sides.


Serve hot with raitha .
