INGREDIENTS :
- Mustard and Urad dal - 1 tsp each
- Carrot - 1 big
- Bell pepper - 1
- Channa dal - 2tsps
- Ginger - a small piece
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves - few
- Onion -1
- Tomato - 1 small
- Red chillies -2
- Salt to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION :
- Heat oil in a kadai. Once hot, add channa dal and get it roasted.
- Add Red chillies, ginger and onion.Saute till tender.
- Then add tomato and saute well.
- Then add carrot and bell pepper. Saute till tender.
- Finally, add coriander leaves and saute for 5 minutes.
- Allow it to cool and blend them with salt in a blender finely.
- Tadka it with Mustard, Urad dal, Red chillies and Curry leaves. Serve hot with Idli or Dosai.
