INGREDIENTS :
Pinto beans -- 300 gms
Mustard and Urat dal --1 tsp each
Salt to taste
Curry leaves
For Masala :
Coconut--3 pieces
Green Chillies - 3
Kasakasa /Poppy Seeds -- 1/2 tsp
Garlic cloves-2

METHOD OF PREPARATION :
1) Pressure cook beans for 3 whistles and allow the steam to leave.
2) Meanwhile , heat oil in a pan . Add mustard and Jeera . Once it splutters, add sliced onions and saute till tender.
3) Add the grinded masala, turmeric powder and Salt. Saute till the raw smell leaves.
5) Then add beans to it and mix well .
